Teams Voice differentiate internal vs external call and route accordingly using a SIP gateway & registered devices

Following up on this link, I'm looking to engineer this solution for our corporate executive team. Can this solution be achieved if a SIP gateway was configured in the TAC and register physical devices to it? Then using a voice routing policy, route external inbound calls to the executive's delegate or send it to voicemail while still being able to receive internal calls? Thank you in advance.

    Hi @Joe Calabria

As an admin, you can create policies that help prevent your users from getting unwanted calls from external parties. You can control whether these external calls should always be sent to voicemail, sent to unanswered settings, or use normal call routing. For PSTN calls, you can also allow your users within the policy to decide.
