Edge sync not working, intune policy is set to force the sync
- Intune support confirmed its all good on policy end.
- Tested on MAC and Windows PC, affecting both OS.
- edge is on latest Version 125.0.2535.67
- Edge application is pushed via Intune to all PC. Does affect the PC which is not pushed via Intune too.

This solved my issue, Had a 365 tenant tenant and the configuration profiles with force sync did apply and succeed, however in edge it said "Sync has been turned off by your administrator"

To clarify this issue, we appreciate your help to collect some information:
1.Could you please show the screenshot of the settings you configured?
2.Generally, a same setting may have different setting types. Which setting type did you use? Device or User? It will decide to be assigned to device group or user group.
3.Does affect the PC which is not pushed via Intune too.

Please enter "edge://policy" in Edge browser. It will make sure that if the policy is really applied to Edge.
Based on my research, if you configured the setting "Force synchronization of browser data and do not show the sync consent prompt", please make sure BrowserSignin policy must not be configured, or must be set to enabled. And SyncDisabled must not be configured or must be set to False. For more details, please refer to the following article:

I do not see the Sync disabled option. -

From the picture you provided, it shows that the "ForceSync" is deployed. What I say "SyncDisabled" is this setting "Disable synchronization of data using Microsoft sync services".

2024-06-11T01:49:56.3866667+00:00 I did contact intune and they directed me to Edge, but they are unable to help as they support only organisations with 150+ employees.
