VBScript error while installing ESU on Windows server 2008

Question

Cant find script engine "VBScript" for script "C:\Windows\system32\slmgr.vbs"

Facing above error while installing ESU key through cmd on windows server 2008 and 2008R2

If you have made substantial hardware changes to your PC, such as replacing your hard drive or motherboard, you need to contact support to activate Windows by phone:

Please follow the steps mentioned below to activate Windows on your computer:

a) Click Start, and in the Search box type: slui.exe 4

b) Press ENTER on your Keyboard

c) Select your Country.

d) Opt for Phone Activation option, and seek help from the activation team.

I'd verify system and servicing health by running;
sfc /scannow

also system update readiness tool

Then check for errors in;
%SYSTEMROOT%\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
