I have two users with M365 Apps for Enterprise and both have suddenly lost Powerpoint. It's simply not on their PC's anymore. All other Office Suite apps are still present and functional. The powerpnt.exe file is missing from the Program Files\Microsoft\root\Office16 directory, but 2 bin files for ppt are still there: PowerPointCombinedFloatieModel.bin and PowerPointInterProviderRanker.bin, though all other powerpoint DLL, exe, xml and other files are not present.
One PC is running Win10 Pro on a Dell Vostro, the other PC is Win11 Enterprise on Lenovo Thinkpad.
Both have all other Office apps installed and functional.
Both can use powerpoint via webapp and Office app.
Both are licensed with E5 licensing.
We've uninstalled, restarted PC, then reinstalled the Office suite on both users' PC's and after a couple days, it has disappeared again.
We've run both Quick and Online repair, which did not correct issue.
Also tried the SARA tool, but there really isn't an option for powerpoint issues, though I tried performing a sign-in reset, which did not change anything.
Found other articles from 2018 & 2019 where this occurred and the steps above were the only recommendations:

I'd like to understand what's happening here and how to prevent the continued recurrence that seems to be happening as well.
