We have a team plan in Planner. We have added a tab in our channel for that plan. There are two columns that are visible in the plan in the Teams tab that are not visible in the plan in Planner online. When we try to delete them, we get the following error:

Correlation Id: REMOVE PII

Time Stamp: 2025-08-14T08:18:43.895Z

please help. just want to delete the extraneous buckets in the planner in the channel tab.

    Hi @Akshar,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A Forum.

Please understand that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to cover your organization domain name in the description. Please notice to hide these personal or organization information next time you post error or some information to protect personal data.

Regarding to your description, may I know a few more detail?

    • You mention that there are two columns that are visible in the plan in the Teams tab that are not visible in the plan in Planner online, could you specify which version of Teams you're using when you see those columns (e.g., desktop app, web version, mobile app)?
    • Could you also confirm which version you were using when the error occurred while trying to delete the buckets? For example, did the error happen in the Teams desktop app, web version, or mobile app? If possible, please try deleting the buckets from another version to see if the issue persists.
    • May I know which type of channel that you're using for? (e.g., public channel, private channel)
    • May I know which type of account was used to add the Planner tab to the channel? Was it added by you or another user? If possible, please ask the person who originally created the Planner or the buckets to try deleting them, as the issue may be related to ownership or permissions.
    • Additionally, could you please share the screenshot of the error message that you're experiencing?

In the meantime, while I'm not sure which troubleshooting steps you've tried, but I'd recommend a few which you may want to infer:

1- Remove and re-add the planner tab in Teams to refresh the sync

2- With the Teams on web version, you can try clear cache browser and login again or try on the incognito tab to check the issue is still persist, with the Teams app version you can refer to this article to clear Teams cache: Clear the Teams client cache

Thank you for your time, I'm looking forward to your response.
