Hello,

I am hoping someone is able to help me with this.
I used to use the developer program through my company account.
As i am no longer working for the company i wish to open a private account so i can eep on training my skills.
Sadly it tells me i am not qualified.
Are private accounts not accepted? I read they where.

Hope someone can answer that question for me.

    Hi @sjmoelski

Thank you for reaching out via the Microsoft Q&A forum regarding this issue.

As forum moderators, we don’t have access to internal systems to review individual account details, due to privacy and security policies. However, we would like to offer the following guidance to assist you.

For questions about eligibility and account requirements in the Microsoft 365 Developer Program, we recommend reviewing the official FAQ here: Microsoft 365 Developer Program FAQ

In particular, we recommend reviewing the following two key topics:

If your profile appears to be correctly configured but you still encounter the “not qualified” message, the next step would be to contact Microsoft Developer Support for further assistance. Their support team is best positioned to investigate account-specific cases and help with subscription activation or reset if needed.

Please note that this is a paid support ticket, which means it requires an active support plan or a one-time support purchase. However, it gives you direct access to the product teams responsible for the developer platform, who are best positioned to provide detailed support, especially in more complex or account-specific scenarios.

Please also make sure you’re signed in with the same personal Microsoft account you used to join the Developer Program and try refreshing the page or switching to a different browser.

We appreciate your understanding, and we hope this information proves helpful. Feel free to follow up here if you have any additional questions.
