Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Regarding your issue, may I kindly ask a few questions to help understand your issue better
- Because when you first submit your question, you didn't specify which tag so I couldn't know if your account is a home or business account so could you please reconfirm whether you're using a Home account (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail) or a Business (typically associated with a domain name like your company) account?
- What Microsoft 365 license are you using?
- Which part of the deletion process you’re stuck on?
If you're using a Microsoft Personal Account:
- Sign in at https://account.microsoft.com.
- Go to Your info > Close account.
- Follow the prompts to verify your identity and confirm closure. (Note: The account will be permanently deleted after a 60-day waiting period). For more details, please refer to: How to close your Microsoft account
If you're using Microsoft 365 Business/Work Account:
- If you’re the admin, sign in to https://admin.microsoft.com.
- Remove any assigned licenses, then delete the user account under Users > Active users.
- If you want to close the entire organization tenant, you must cancel all subscriptions first, then follow the tenant closure steps in Admin Center and remember to back up any data before deletion. For more details, please refer to: Close your Microsoft business account.
Hope to hear back from you soon.
The initial response may not fully address your needs, but it will help me better understand your situation. Once I get the information, I will try my best to find the next steps.
