How do I build a Loop template where each section displays filtered data from a single master data table based on jobdesk categories?

Could you advise on how to create a Microsoft Loop template that consists of a master data table and several category-based summary tables, where each summary table automatically displays filtered data (e.g., CSR, CORSEC, CORCOMP, Design) sourced from the master data?

    Hi @Hadi Prayikno

    Welcome to Q&A Community!

Thank you for your inquiry. At this time, Microsoft Loop does not support automatic synchronization between a master table and filtered summary tables within the Loop environment. If you create a template with multiple filtered tables, those tables will remain static and will not update when changes are made to the master table.

To achieve real-time updates and automation, the recommended approach is to use Microsoft Lists as the master data source. Microsoft Lists allows you to maintain a single master list and create filtered views for categories such as CSR, CORSEC, CORCOMP, and Design. These views update automatically whenever the master list changes. Additionally, you can integrate Power Automate to send notifications, trigger workflows, or update other systems based on changes in the list.

Currently, embedding Microsoft Lists directly inside Loop is not supported, and this feature is not yet listed on the Microsoft 365 roadmap. If you prefer to continue using Loop for your workflow, you can still create a page template with a master table and category summaries, but please note that these summaries will not auto-update. If you would like detailed instructions on how to create this template in Loop, I will be happy to provide them.

If this impacts your process, I encourage you to submit feedback through the Microsoft Feedback Portal so that your request can be considered for future updates.

Please let me know if you would like guidance on creating the Loop template or if you have any other concerns. I am happy to clarify.

I cannot provide specific guidance on creating a Microsoft Loop template for your request, as the context does not contain relevant information about Microsoft Loop or its functionalities. However, you may want to explore Microsoft documentation or community forums for detailed instructions on building templates and filtering data based on categories.
