    Hello, happy to help here.

First, can you please try to sign in to your email on the web to confirm your password is correct? If web sign in works, open Outlook, go to File, Account Settings, Account Settings, select your account, then click Repair and follow the prompts. If repair fails, remove the account and add it again using File, Add Account. Let me know if that works.

If you have further questions, just let me know. Have a great day!

Try these steps in order, testing Outlook after each one:

    1. Confirm the password and username
    • Make sure Caps Lock isn’t on; passwords are case-sensitive.
    • Confirm the password works by signing in directly with the email provider (for example, via their webmail site).
    • Ensure the username is the full email address (for example, ******@contoso.com).
    1. Update the saved password in Outlook If the password was recently changed with the email provider, Outlook still has the old one stored.
    • Open Outlook.
    • Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
    • Select the email account and choose Change.
    • Update the password field with the current password and finish the wizard.
    • Restart Outlook and try again.

If Outlook has worked before and suddenly started prompting, it is often because:

    • The password was changed at the provider and not updated in Outlook, or
    • The password expired (common with corporate accounts) and must be changed at the provider first.
    1. If Outlook prompts at every start or cannot connect For Outlook 2016/2019/Microsoft 365:
    • Go to File > Options.
    • Select Trust Center > Trust Center Settings.
    • Select Privacy Options.
    • Check Let Office connect to online services from Microsoft to provide functionality that's relevant to your usage and preferences.
    • Select OK twice and restart Outlook.

    For Outlook 2013:

    • Go to File > Options.
    • Select Trust Center > Trust Center Settings.
    • Select Privacy Options.
    • Check Allow Office to connect to the Internet.
    • Select OK twice and restart Outlook.
    1. If Outlook still repeatedly prompts
    • Close Outlook.
    • Open Control Panel > Credential Manager > Windows Credentials.
    • Remove any stored credentials related to Outlook or the email account.
    • Reopen Outlook and enter the correct password when prompted.

If the account is a Microsoft 365/Exchange account and Outlook continues to prompt, run the “Diag: Outlook keeps asking for my password” diagnostic mentioned in the documentation to automatically detect and fix common issues.
