Certification download issue.

Question

I recently completed my renewal assessment for the Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate on February 5, 2026, and the status shows as “Passed.” However, I am currently unable to download the certificate/image from the portal.

I have tried multiple times, but the download option does not seem to work. Kindly assist me in resolving this issue or guide me on the correct steps to download the certificate.

Please let me know if any additional information is required from my end.

You cannot download a renewal badge, only the original certification

You can no longer download certificates, you need to view, print, and save as PDF https://learn.microsoft.com/credentials/certifications/cred-share-validate

The certificate download behavior has changed. Certificates are no longer downloaded directly from the classic Certification Dashboard as separate image/PDF files.

For passed exams and renewals, certificates are now accessed from the Microsoft Learn profile and then printed/saved as PDF instead of using a dedicated “Download” button:

1. Open the credentials page on Microsoft Learn:
   • https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/credentials/?tab=credentials-tab
2. Locate the "Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate" certification in the list.
3. Open the certification details and use the browser’s Print function to print the page.
4. In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF (or equivalent) to save the certificate locally.

If the certification does not appear under the Credentials tab, or if the page will not render/print correctly, raise a support request so the certification team can check the account and entitlement:

• Use the guidance under Credentials support | Microsoft Learn to contact certification support.

If the certificate still cannot be accessed after following these steps, open a support ticket with certification support and provide:

• Microsoft Learn account ID
• Certification name: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• Date of renewal and status (“Passed” on 5 February 2026)

Support can then verify the renewal and help restore access to the certificate view.
