I noticed that SAP appears to be a business license, so I understand that you may be using a business subscription. If that is correct, please follow the detailed steps below to ensure your subscription is properly provisioned and recognised by the system:
1/ Check License and invoice status If this is a business account, please verify the billing details in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center:
- Go to: https://admin.microsoft.com
- Sign in with the admin account
- Select Billing > Licenses to check the license status
- Select Billing > Bills & payments to review the invoice and payment status
- Please confirm that: The subscription shows as Active The invoice status shows as Paid
2/ Sign in to the correct account: Ensure that you are signed into the correct Microsoft account in the Office applications. It is to ensure that:
- The app is activated with the same account that holds the active subscription
- You are not signed into another account that does not have a valid license
3/ Sign out and sign back in
Sometimes the apps do not immediately sync with the subscription status:
- Open any Office app (Excel)
- Go to File > Account
- Click Sign out
- Close the application completely
- Reopen the app and sign back in with the correct account
4/ Update License in Office Apps: Open any Office application (Excel), go to File > Account, and click on Update License. This may help refresh the subscription status in the application.
