Hi there! So I recently paid 106.99$ for a new year subscription for my microsoft account and I recently noticed it is telling me it was canceled for some reason when I try to use my excel apps, however on my account itself says that it is active until December of 2026. When I also paid for my yearly subscription, it paid twice so the bank noticed it and canceled the one transaction and returned the money back but the other 106.99$ was paid and was working perfectly fine until February 15th 2026. I really need to get this figured out due to the fact that I use this account for work purposes.

    Dear Kristin Watkins,

Thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I noticed that SAP appears to be a business license, so I understand that you may be using a business subscription. If that is correct, please follow the detailed steps below to ensure your subscription is properly provisioned and recognised by the system:

1/ Check License and invoice status If this is a business account, please verify the billing details in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center:

    • Go to: https://admin.microsoft.com
    • Sign in with the admin account
    • Select Billing > Licenses to check the license status
    • Select Billing > Bills & payments to review the invoice and payment status
    • Please confirm that: The subscription shows as Active The invoice status shows as Paid

2/ Sign in to the correct account: Ensure that you are signed into the correct Microsoft account in the Office applications. It is to ensure that:

    • The app is activated with the same account that holds the active subscription
    • You are not signed into another account that does not have a valid license

3/ Sign out and sign back in

Sometimes the apps do not immediately sync with the subscription status:

    • Open any Office app (Excel)
    • Go to File > Account
    • Click Sign out
    • Close the application completely
    • Reopen the app and sign back in with the correct account

4/ Update License in Office Apps: Open any Office application (Excel), go to File > Account, and click on Update License. This may help refresh the subscription status in the application.

If you would like further verification, please share the name of the subscription along with the associated invoice ID so I can assist you accordingly. Otherwise, if you are using a personal subscription instead, please let me know.

I hope this information helps. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to let me know.
