    Hello Kate Sarley,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

I understand that you are having issue with contacting Microsoft support. I truly understand how you feel. Let me assist you further.

    To contact Microsoft Support:

    1. Visit this site: Contact – Microsoft Support
    2. Type Contact in the search box.
    3. Now, click on Get Help and select Contact Support or enter below to contact support.
    4. Go to the Products & Services tab and choose the Microsoft 365 & Office category.
    5. On the Category tab, choose the tag match your issue
    6. Go to Confirm.
    7. You can now choose the Chat with a support agent option in your web browser.

The following images indicate in detail the steps to contact them:

Please note that the chat support team only works during certain working hours. Therefore, if the last window indicates that you are unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can call you and help you.

I hope this will help with your situation. Please feel free to reach back if you have further update or more questions.

    Best Regards,

To speak with an actual person about a Microsoft 365/Office issue, use one of these supported paths:

    1. Use the Get Help app or web entry point (home users)
      • Go to the Microsoft Support entry page: Contact – Microsoft Support (via the "Contact a Microsoft support agent" link below).
      • Describe the issue, then when prompted choose Get HelpContact Support.
      • Select the affected product (for example, Microsoft 365 & Office) and the appropriate category.
      • Confirm, then choose one of the live options:
        • Chat with a support agent in your web browser, or
        • Provide your phone number and a support agent will call you.
If signed in to Windows with a Microsoft personal account, the same flow is available directly from the Get Help app on the PC:
      • Open Get Help.
      • Enter the issue.
      • When offered, select Contact Support → choose product/category → Confirm.
      • Pick Chat or Call me back.
    2. Use Microsoft Store / billing support (for purchase or subscription charges)
      • If the problem is with a Microsoft 365/Office purchase or billing, go to Help with Microsoft Store purchases and select Get help.
      • If still unresolved, scroll to the region list to find the Microsoft Store Sales Support phone number for the country/region, or use the Customer service phone numbers page to locate the correct number.
    3. Call Microsoft using the customer service phone directory (business or complex account issues)
      • Open the Customer service phone numbers page.
      • Select the region and then the country/territory to get the correct support number.
      • For business/tenant issues (for example, admin access, MFA lockout), call the business support number and follow the IVR prompts until offered a service request with an agent.
    4. If locked out as the only admin on a business tenant
      • Use the Customer service phone numbers page to reach frontline support.
      • Clearly state that this is an Office 365 for business issue, that this is a company account, and that there is only one administrator.
      • Ask them to open a ticket with the Microsoft Data Protection team to help regain access.

If one channel keeps looping in self-help, stay on the line or keep selecting options until a Contact Support, Talk to an agent, Chat, or Call me back option appears; availability depends on product, subscription, and local support hours.
