    Hi @Deborah Lucas-Drinski,

I hope you are doing well.

Based on your description, error code 0x803d0014 typically indicates that Excel is unable to communicate properly with the server (usually OneDrive or SharePoint) to complete the sharing action. This isn't a problem with your file itself, but rather a connection or configuration issue.

Please try the following troubleshooting steps to narrow down the issue:

Step 1: Try Sharing from the Web Version

    • Save your Excel file to OneDrive if you haven't already
    • Go to Microsoft OneDrive in your browser
    • Navigate to your file, right-click it, and select Share
    • If this works, the issue is likely with your desktop Excel/OneDrive integration rather than the file itself

Step 2: Run an Online Repair of Office

    • Close all Office applications
    • Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps
    • Find your Microsoft 365 installation, click the three dots, and select Modify
    • Choose Online Repair (this will take longer but is more thorough)
    • Follow the prompts to complete the repair.

For reference: Repair an Office application - Microsoft Support

    Step 3: Reset OneDrive

    • Right-click the OneDrive cloud icon in your system tray
    • Select Settings > Account > Unlink this PC
    • After unlinking, go back to Settings > Account and click Add an account to reconnect
    • This refreshes the connection between your PC and OneDrive

Step 4: Start Excel in Safe Mode

    • Press Windows Key + R, type excel /safe, and press Enter
    • Try sharing your file again from within Safe Mode
    • If it works, an add-in is the culprit. Disable them by going to File > Options > Add-ins > Go next to COM Add-ins, then uncheck all and restart Excel.
    • Re-enable the add-in one by one to identify which one causes the issue.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow the steps above and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can continue working together to resolve the issue.
