In Excel, the “Stocks” command is missing from the data types. Where did it go?

    Hi @Levente Ungvári

Based on your question, I understand that the "Stocks" data type button is completely missing from the Data Types group on the Data tab in your Excel ribbon, and you are trying to find where it went or how to bring it back.

After testing it in my own environment, this feature is still working normally. Therefore, to help you better, could you please provide me with the following information?

    • What version of Excel are you currently using? You can check this by opening Excel and going to File > Account > About Excel (or Excel > About Microsoft Excel if you are on a Mac). Could you let me know the specific version and build number listed there?
    • What type of Office subscription do you have? (For example: Microsoft 365 Family, Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, or a perpetual version like Office 2021/2024).
    • When did this behavior start occurring? Were you able to use the Stocks command normally on this exact same computer recently, or has it been missing since a recent update?

Please let me know your version details and if checking the privacy settings helps bring the command back!
