i was able to resolve this by disabling the "Mobile Browser View" Site Feature

SharePoint mobile app shows a white screen when opening Team Sites. Site Pages and document libraries open normally. Direct links to pages work. Changing the homepage to a brand-new blank page does not resolve the issue. The mobile client appears to redirect through /_layouts/15/mobile/mblwp.aspx and fails to load the site landing page

@Martin Perkins @Hin Vo Martin, I am so glad to see you have the same problem. I don't have a solution, but I can share a similar experience. A user came to me yesterday and couldn't access one of the SharePoint sites I administer on the mobile app. Two out of my three sites work perfectly fine on the mobile. The third one, when you click on site says "Sorry, something went wrong. File not found" Other sites work perfectly. Only this one is affected. Mobile Safari and Desktop work fine. I switched the homepage for the site to a brand new page with nothing on it. Mobile Safari goes to the newly designated home page. The app just shows the same error. I'm not sure why a brand new blank homepage wouldn't display in the app, since other sites I've created show properly in the app.
I was thankful to see your thread and see that it was dated just a few days ago, because that meant I wasn't the only person with this problem and it was likely the update to the mobile app that broke my site. Having said that, I have no idea what else to try at this point, since switching home pages doesn't work.
The only thing I can think of would be to ask my IT department to provision me another site and recreate the site from scratch and see if that worked, but that would be a lot of work. I'll be monitoring this thread and hopefully someone will have a solution. Please post any solutions that you find.
If SharePoint mobile is stuck loading, I’d first try the app on both Wi-Fi and mobile data to rule out a network issue. Clearing the app cache (or reinstalling it) can also help. If it works in the browser but not the app, it’s likely an app/session issue rather than SharePoint itself.
its the latest update, released a week ago. we had 3 people without an issue, they had old version of sharepouint (app store saying that an update was available). 2 of them updated and now have ther same issue as i do. the one that didnt update is still ok.
you have an issue with release 5.0.6
Based on my research, this behavior may be related to SharePoint's mobile redirection process. For supported site types such as Team Sites, mobile requests can be routed through /_layouts/15/mobile/mblwp.aspx before the site landing page is rendered.

To help me better understand and address the issue, could you confirm whether the redirect to /_layouts/15/mobile/mblwp.aspx is occurring within the SharePoint app itself or when accessing the site from a browser on the iOS device?
As a troubleshooting step, you could try accessing the affected site using a different mobile browser on the same iOS device to see if this helps. In addition, it would be helpful if you could test with a newly created Team Site and confirm whether the same issue can be reproduced there. This will help me determine whether the behavior is specific to the affected site or related to the SharePoint mobile loading experience.
I look forward to your update. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. I would be happy to assist further.
