patreon email code not being sent

Hi,

I note that this seems to be a long standing problem for many users. I have been requesting verification from patreon in order to login.

I've confirmed there are no rules set up, patreon is not in my junk mail or anything like that.

However when I attempt like many others to login I am not receiving the verification email to allows me entry.

I've seen this many times on message boards and seems to require direct help from outlook to fix. Also note that when they answer a public question such as this they never leave any instruction on how to fix the problem for others searching for a solution.

    Hi @ben

I understand how frustrating this is, especially since you have already checked your rules and Junk Email folder.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas only.

Patreon states that device verification emails are sent from ******@patreon.com. Please add this address to your contacts and to Settings > Mail > Junk email > Safe senders and domains, then request a new verification email.

If the message still does not arrive, please contact Patreon Support and ask them to check their sending logs for your Outlook.com address. They should confirm whether the message was successfully sent, bounced, or rejected. If it was rejected by Outlook.com, Patreon will need to review Microsoft’s sender-support guidance because only the sender can investigate the outgoing delivery details.

You may also check that your Microsoft cloud storage is not full, as a full mailbox can prevent new messages from being received.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.
