Two Microsoft Accounts

Question

Hello,

It looks like one of the certs I recently passed was set up and saved on my work Microsoft email account when it needs to be registered on my personal Microsoft account. Can you assist?

Since AI response already explains how to link both accounts to the same Microsoft Learn profile.

However, although it recommends contacting Microsoft Support if the issue continues, it does not explain how to reach a support agent.

You can contact Microsoft Support as follows:

1. Open Contact Microsoft Support.
2. In the box under We’re here to help, enter Microsoft 365, select Get Help, and then select Contact Support.
3. Sign in to your Microsoft account when prompted.
4. Under Products and services, select Microsoft 365 and Office. Choose Technical Support as the category and then confirm your selection.
5. Select Chat with a support agent in your web browser to open the chat window.

Personal Microsoft accounts and work or school accounts cannot be merged.

For Microsoft Learn credentials, the supported self-service fix is to add both sign-in accounts to the same Learn profile:

1. Sign in to Microsoft Learn with the profile that currently shows the certification.
2. Select the avatar in the upper-right corner.
3. Go to Settings > Account management.
4. Select Add Account.
5. Sign in with the other account.

After both accounts are added to the same Learn profile, the certifications should be visible when signing in with either account.

If the certification is still missing, first confirm the credential is not under a different Learn profile by trying any other login accounts that may have been used during exam registration, including both the personal Microsoft account and the work or school account.
