Databricks: Cannot Azure Databricks cluster [The requested size for resource is currently not available in location 'southeastasia' zones.

Question

Hi,

I tried to created an Azure Databricks cluster in Southeast Asia zone and I got the following error.

Message
Cluster terminated. Reason: Azure Unexpected Deployment Template Failure
The template deployment failed with error: 'The resource with id: '{RESOURCE_ID}' failed validation with message: 'The requested size for resource '{RESOURCE_ID}}' is currently not available in location 'southeastasia' zones '' for subscription '{GUID}'. Please try another size or deploy to a different location or zones. See https://aka.ms/azureskunotavailable for details.

Can anyone suggest me what to do? Here is my configuration for creating new cluster.

Welcome to the MS Q&A platform.

By default, for any subscription there will be specific limit on the VM cores available per region based on the OfferType. Certain Azure regions require customers to go through a request process in order to gain access. To request access to these regions, a customer or their Cloud Solution Provider may open a support request and work with our Support team to discuss or enable access.

Note: If a SKU isn't available for your subscription in a location or zone that meets your business needs, submit a SKU request to Azure Support (Which is complete at free cost).
