SQL Server 2019 installation failed with below error. I have tried manually installing the msodbcsql.msi and re-tried the SQL server installation, but that also failed. The SQL2019-SSEI-Expr.exe was downloaded from microsoft.com

Yes i tried the steps mentioned in your reply. But the installation still fails with same error. (ODBC Driver is installed in my machine. I have tried uninstalling and re-install too )

Did you install SSMS first, this is also a possible reason, and did you uninstall ODBC driver? also can try to uninstall OLE DB, and make the SQL Server installation to install them

If they all do not work, then you need to check your error log, to find the more useful information

uninstall OLE DB, and then tried re-installing SQL server 2019 express, it worked.. Thanks
