Is it allowed / legal to use MAK licenses (i.e. MS Visio) on Virtual Remote Systems?

Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I am writing to inquire about the legality of using MAK (Multiple Activation Key) licenses on virtual remote systems.

Our organization has recently implemented a virtual remote system and we are exploring our licensing options for the software we use.

Would like to know whether our existing MAK licenses can be used in this way, or on what it depends.

But your issue is more related to license requirement, which is not supported on Q&A at current time.

For advice on products or licensing solutions , it's best to contact your Licensing Solution Partner instead of Microsoft.

If your users need to access this virtual remote system through an end devices, according to this PDF, we can get the content on following screenshot.

In my opinion, MAK is one of activation methods for volume licensed versions of Office, which is licensed through a device-based licensing model, each desktop that’s used to access Microsoft Office using Remote Desktop Services must have a separate Microsoft Office license dedicated to it.
