If your users need to access this virtual remote system through an end devices, according to this PDF, we can get the content on following screenshot.
In my opinion, MAK is one of activation methods for volume licensed versions of Office, which is licensed through a device-based licensing model, each desktop that’s used to access Microsoft Office using Remote Desktop Services must have a separate Microsoft Office license dedicated to it.
