deleted items folder

Question

please help me understand why i do not have deleted items folder in my outlook

I deleted something important and unable to retrieve. PLEASE HELP

depending on your subscription you will have either a deleted folders list or a trash. You can see if its still in the trash. If not you can't recover the deleted items.

Is it an IMAP account? If so, please check your subscription.

1. In Mail, in the Navigation Pane, right-click the top folder for your IMAP account.
2. Click IMAP Folders.
3. Click Query.
4. Click Trash, and then click Subscribe.

When you subscribe to a folder, Outlook will display the folder in your Navigation Pane and cooperate with the IMAP server to keep it up to date.

If the Trash folder doesn't in the subscription folder list, you need to check the setting on the web.

Sign in to your account on the web and click Settings > Labels.

After subscribing to trash, right-click the top folder for your IMAP account and click Update Folder List.

Check if you can retrieve the deleted email in Trash folder, if not, it means the emails has been deleted on the server side.

in addition, change the view in the client via View > IMAP Message to see if them still saved in local, if not, they were unable to retrieve.
