I'm unable to reach certain IP addresses on my own network

Hello,

I've just intalled an Alarm Central, connected by RJ45 on my Orbi Satellite. In my Orbi App, I can clearly see the IP address of my central but I can't go on the http:// of it !

Frustrated, I've tried with a laptop, same result, tried with another laptop, same result, tried with everything I got, same result.

I've already disarmed all firewalls, no change.

I've already renewed IP adresses, I've already reinitialised my network, I've already forced IP adresses... no change.

Maybe one important point : my network is as follow : Optical Fiber --> Optical Box --> Bouygues Box --> Orbi Base --> PLCC + of course, the two Orbi satelites in wifi.

I've plugged the RJ45 on the Bouygues Box and on the Orbi, no change.

In fact, the only IP address I can reach is the one of the Bouygues Box.

It is VERY annoying, could you help me to see my connected devices ?

Cheers,

P.

    Hello there,

The most likely cause of that issue is a duplicate IP on the network. If you're using a typical home router device (that does routing, switching, NAT, firewall, wireless AP, DHCP service) then it's possible that this address is part of the default DHCP server scope of addresses it assigns to devices you connect on it.

You can use this tool to find more information https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/networking/technologies/pktmon/pktmon

Hope this resolves your Query !!
