New Outlook - Missing Items When Search - Indexing Location?

Hi!

I'm using the new version of Outlook (1.2023.607.100) and I'm finding that the search features misses out some results. I can confirm manually that the emails are present, but the search does not include them.

I'm familiar with this kind of problem from the previous version of Outlook. Usually solved by re-building the index. However, this new version doesnt appear to use a ".OST" data file. Instead, it seems to work in realtime with the server. This is apparent as Outlook will not load if not connected to the internet.

My quesiton is, how do I fix this issue if there is no index to rebuild?

Many Thanks!

Mitch

    Hi @Mitchell Clark

The new Outlook is not yet complete, and some options may not be available or work as expected. You can switch back to the classic Outlook at any time by clicking the toggle button in the top right corner of the window.

And these articles are updated as features are added:

Things to know about the new Outlook for Windows
New Outlook for Windows available to all Office Insiders
