PDF in Excel error

Insert a PDF file in Excel by selecting cells=>Insert=>Object=>Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Document, then selecting "Display as Icon" on the right side, and then browsing the file. Once confirmed, the prompt "Unable to launch the source application for this object" appears. How can I solve this problem?

    Hi,

    Can you open the PDF file directly from desktop?

    I suggest you try to change the default app for .pdf file via Windows settings- Apps- Default apps- set default apps by file type.
