Please try the steps below to clear the credentials stored locally and check the behavior. Please note that you would be prompted to add the account once again after we clear the credentials.
1. Please close the new Outlook app.
2. Click the Start menu and search for 'Command Prompt' > Right click the app and select 'Run as Administrator'.
3. Now, please copy/paste the following command and hit the Enter key.
olk.exe --clearLocalState
4. Now, please re-open the new Outlook app to check the behavior.
Besides, delete any saved passwords from the Microsoft Edge Settings:
