Trying to create Exchange Online account at one.com, but Azure AD custom domain configuration returns "Unable to get the list of domains. Please try again later."
I am trying to create an Exchange Online account with one.com, but their service returns the following error message:
"Unfortunately, we’re unable to create a Microsoft 365 account because there already was a previous Microsoft account linked to this domain. If you created the account with Microsoft directly, you need to remove this domain via the Azure portal: https://portal.azure.com. Check our guide for step-by-step instructions."
I follow the steps, but when I get to the "Azure Active Directory | Custom domain names", I get the following error message:
"Unable to get the list of domains. Please try again later."
However my main Microsoft account is based on "outlook.com" domain name, and the email address I am trying to add, is based on a domain name that I own. However both my kids' Microsoft accounts are using the domain name in question.
The question is, as a domain owner, how do I sever any previous connections, and regain the ability to assign e-mail addresses on my domain to an Exchange Online account?
Thank you in advance!
