Error Message:

Issue:
- Dedicated SQL pool cannot be scaled beyond a capacity of 100 DWU or it cannot be paused and there is no information about a technical problem on the Azure Status page expect the above error message.
Solution:
- Before scaling or pausing a dedicated SQL pool, we have to ensure that there are no active queued/running requests. Also ensure that the DWU usage us 0.
You can check these details in Azure Synapse portal as shown below:
