Trouble with connecting Azure Deops Account to Azure Defender for Devops using the connector

Hi,

I am trying to connect my Azure Devops (ADO) account to Defender for Cloud using the Azure DevOps connection settings. I have correctly authorized Defender to connect to my ADO account. Both systems use the same accounts and there are no other tenants in either of them.

However, I still can't find my ADO Org to connect after authorization (see screenshot below) and thus cannot proceed with the connection. I created new orgs while troubleshooting, changed regions, also completely signed out of everything else (even cleared cache on browser) but am still having trouble at this step and am blocked. The authorisation happens correctly but Azure says it cannot find any organisations in ADO.

How do I fix this?

    Issue:

You were trying to connect your Azure Devops account to Defender for Cloud using the Azure DevOps connection settings. You correctly authorized Defender to connect to your ADO account. However, you couldn't find your ADO Org to connect after authorization in Azure.

    Solution:

Your ADO organization was located in the Microsoft Directory. When you created your organization and projects in the default directory they appeared correctly to be selected in the Defender for Cloud Devops connector.

Please remember to "Accept Answer" if any answer/reply helped, so that others in the community facing similar issues can easily find the solution.

I solved it finally. Turns out my ADO org was in the Microsoft Directory. When I created my org and projects in the default directory they appeared correctly for selection in Defender for Cloud Devops connector. Directory details can be seen here: https://aex.dev.azure.com/
