SCOM 2019 - Unix agent shows Greyed out (Healthy status) and Critical status.

Hello All,

Recently Im facing issues in adding newly build Unix\Linux servers in our non prod environment.

after adding they shows grayed out and critical status. I tried rediscover them but still same.

But the all the other Linux servers in monitoring and works fine.

I'm seeing below error message in MS server event log.

Recent changes : our current environment in Azure and planning to move them in on-prem.

So I have build couple new servers and installed SCOM 2019.

But I have validated that the newly build servers are not added in Cross Platform resource pool.

Please advise.

Hi,

I would suggest to revise the Linux run as configurations. Please follow the guides:

1. Install agent on UNIX and Linux using the Discovery Wizard
2. Planning Security Credentials for Accessing Unix and Linux Computers
3. How to configure Run As accounts and profiles for UNIX and Linux access
4. How to configure sudo elevation and SSH keys
