Hello @Tamil Selvan M I could not find any documentation that spells a downgrade to V1 edition and so, I would presume that this isn't possible. Also, keep in mind that V1 is in deprecation mode as called out here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/application-gateway/v1-retirement. As regards to your other question around Traffic Manager cost reduction, please understand the cost is based on the following factors:
- Number of DNS queries received which includes the health checks within Azure and external endpoints as well as the fast interval health check add-ons.
- Real user measurements and measuring Azure regions
- Traffic view and data points processed
So, from a Traffic Manager cost optimization standpoint, see which of the above factors you can reduce within your application and make a decision accordingly.
