How to disable print option in MOSS sharepoint word online

Hi,

we are using sharepoint server 2016 in our organization. I have to block download for certain users in a document library. I could able to achieve this by providing "view only" permission to the users. But after opening the file print option is there in the word online viewer. Through the option users can print pdf the document, which should not be as per requirement.

Please guide me how i can block download fully through permissions. And also is there a way to block print option in word online.

    There is no out-of-the-box way in SharePoint to disable print permissions in Word Online. But there's a more complicated way to do this, amnd that's using IRM (Information Rights Management).

    Using IRM in SharePoint 2016 requires RMS to be configured first.

    1.Follow the steps below to configure the configuration:

    Installing and configuring the Microsoft Rights Management connector

    Configuring a SharePoint server to use the connector

    2.Once configured, apply IRM to a list or library.
