Possibility of changing SKUs from Premium to New SKUs Basis v2 or Standard V2

Hi Team,

we have APIM instance which is running on a premium SKUs the time it was created we didn't have those V2 SKUs and hence we went with premium, we are now looking at the possibility of changing the SKUs from Premium to Standard V2 as that fits most of our requirement.

Based on the documentation we have i can see it is only available for new APIM and you can't change it on existing APIM.

is there any timeline when this feature would be available for us to switch to Standard V2 sku?

@Sumit Gaur Thanks for reaching out. I had a discussion internally with our Product group team and they confirmed that they are planning to have this possibility of migration or sku change feature from "classic" to "v2" tiers in future but no ETA available currently.

Hi - There is no timeline available for a 'migration or sku change' feature from "classic" to "v2" tiers.

The best advice would be a side-by-side migration onto V2 from classic which would allow regression and load testing and a controlled cut-over.
