SAP CDC connector in Azure Data Factory

We have been working on a project to migrate data from SAP ECC data sources (Extractors) to ADLS Gen2 using Azure Data Factory and its CDC capabilities. I am curious about the implications since the Data Factory connector for SAP CDC uses the SAP ODP RFC API, which is no longer supported according to SAP Note 3255746. What will happen to the solution we provided to our client, who is using EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0?
