There is written in the learning path of the MS-900:

"For Windows client's, feature updates are released 2 times a year."

Later on, there is written:

Servicing Release

  • Windows insider program: ......
  • General Availability Channel: updates are released 1 time a year.
  • Long-term Servicing Channel: ......

I have my exam tomorrow and because of this, I don't know anymore whether feature updates are released once or twice a year.

    Hi Stefan Gorgievski,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A platform.

Feature updates for Windows are now released annually, not twice a year. This change was made to simplify the update process and make it easier for users to manage.
The General Availability Channel also receives these feature updates once a year.

We will take your suggestion into account and notify our backend team. They will review the proposed changes. Once verified, the backend team will implement the changes. You will be informed through this comment section once the updates are made.
