Azure CDN-Endpoint does not purge. Request timed-out

Using both Azure CLI or Azure Panel, purging a specific CDN-Endpoint takes several minutes and then we receive a timeout after 1 hour. Error below:

Same here. We have tried to purge the CDN endpoint since this morning (9 hours ago...) and it keeps returning an error, regardless using Azure portal or CLI.

I think there is an issue with all CDN and AFD resources. Every task is taking more than 30 minutes. It's not just the purge operation—any update is taking a long time.

by the way this is abummer, i guess we are paying for the build minutes in github when we are waiting for something from azure side?

Customers using Azure Front Door and Content Delivery Network (CDN) have experienced high latency or timeouts when performing service management operations. These operations include provisioning new Azure Front Door profiles, updating endpoints, origin groups, routes, purging cache content, and rulesets on existing profiles. However, there was no impact on the data plane or the service's ability to serve customer traffic.

The team has investigated and mitigated the issue.

You can now perform any operations on the Azure Front Door and CDN profiles. Please let us know if the issue persists.
