We know how annoying it can be when legitimate emails end up in your Junk folder. This usually happens for one or both of these reasons:
- Low sender reputation – The sender’s email or domain might have been flagged as spam in the past, even if the message is valid.
- Your organization settings sometimes filter out safe emails.
As a user, you can do:
- Add trusted senders to your Safe Senders list to make sure their emails always go to your inbox.
- Mark emails as “Not Junk” when you find them in the Junk folder — this helps Outlook learn your preferences over time.
