Based on your description, I'm guessing you're using a personal Microsoft account and are running into an issue where some personal contacts from your device are automatically syncing to Teams (Feel free to correct me in the comments if I'm wrong). I will show you why I am think that below.
Based above images, you can see the interface differences between Teams for Business (left) and Teams Personal (right) show that Teams Personal includes a "People > Sync Contact" section. I believe this is the root cause of your issue.
If my assumption is correct, you can try the following steps, which might help resolve your problem:
- Access the Teams App.
- Navigate to Settings > People > Sync Contact > Manage.
In Manage Sync Contact, you can remove the data sources that are currently syncing (e.g., from Outlook, a mobile device, etc).
