Move task bar to vertical position in Windows 11

Question

How can I move the taskbar to the vertical orientation on the screen? This makes a much better screen for working.

Unfortunately, I’m sorry to say that this is currently impossible, as Microsoft has not provided an official built-in option to reposition the taskbar vertically in the latest versions of Windows. 

I understand this might be disappointing, especially if you were used to that setup in previous versions. While it’s not quite the same, some users have adapted their workflow to make better use of the available screen space in other ways.

AFAIK, this is not possible natively in Windows 11 because of the dedicated option missing.
