Installing Office 365 on second computer

I have a subscription to MS365 that allows installation on 5 computers. How do I install it on my new laptop in addition to where it is already installed? My new laptop has a different user profile. When I open my existing MS365 account on the new laptop, I do not see anywhere to click "install office." I do not want to sync on both computers. Where do I disable autosave to onedrive on the apps?

To install Microsoft 365 on the new laptop and control OneDrive/AutoSave, use these steps.

  1. Install Microsoft 365 on the new laptop
  • Microsoft 365 subscriptions allow installation on all devices and being signed in on up to five at the same time.
  • On the new laptop, open a browser and go to https://www.office.com.
  • Sign in with the same Microsoft account (or work/school account) that the subscription is associated with.
  • Select Apps (if shown), then in the upper-right corner select Install apps. This downloads the installer.
  • Run the downloaded installer and complete setup. This adds the desktop apps on the new laptop without affecting existing installations.

If the Install option is still not visible after signing in with the correct account, the subscription or installations may be managed by an organization’s administrator; in that case, contact the Microsoft 365 administrator.

  1. Notes on number of devices
  • For Microsoft 365 subscriptions: installation is allowed on all devices, with sign-in active on up to five devices at the same time.
  1. Disable AutoSave/OneDrive use in the apps The context provided focuses on installation and sign-in behavior and does not include detailed steps for disabling AutoSave or OneDrive integration in the Office apps. It only states that signing in lets files be accessed in OneDrive and that sign-in limits apply, but does not describe configuration options for disabling AutoSave or OneDrive.
