Passing PL-300 earns the Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification, and because it has been missing since October 2025, check the Learn account used for the exam and then submit a no-charge Microsoft Credentials Support request if it is absent.
1. Check the correct Microsoft Learn profile
- Sign out of Microsoft Learn.
- Sign in with each account that might have been used to register for PL-300:
- Personal Microsoft account
- Work or school account
- Any alternate email account
- In each profile, select your profile icon → Profile → Credentials → Certifications.
- Also select Transcript from the left menu and look for:
- Exam PL-300
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Microsoft notes that the contact email receiving certification messages is not necessarily the account used to sign in. A missing credential may therefore be attached to another Learn profile.^1^
PL-300 is associated with the Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification.^2^
2. Download or print the certificate
If the certification appears:
- Open Credentials → Certifications.
- Select View certification details under the Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification.
- Use the available certificate or sharing options.
- To save the transcript, open Transcript → Print → Save to PDF.
Microsoft Learn supports viewing, sharing, downloading, and printing earned digital certificates and transcripts.^3^
3. Open a Credentials Support case if it remains missing
Since the normal 24–48-hour processing period has long passed, submit a support request through Microsoft Credentials Support.^4^
Select:
- Product family: Learning
- Product or Service: Microsoft Credentials
- Category: The closest option for a missing certification or credential
- Type of Support: Professional No Charge
- Preferred contact method: Email
Include:
- Your Microsoft Learn username from Learn Settings
- Exam name: PL-300
- Exam date
- A copy or screenshot of the passing score report
- Screenshots showing that the certification is absent from Credentials and Transcript
- The email/account used when registering for the exam
- Any Pearson VUE appointment or registration details requested by support
A case number should appear after submission and arrive by email; check the junk or spam folder as well. Do not post your Candidate ID or other account identifiers publicly—provide them only in the private support case.
