The GitHub Foundations certification does not require renewal. As GitHub certifications transition to Microsoft’s certification and recertification policies, GitHub Foundations will follow Microsoft’s policy for fundamental-level exams, which do not offer a recertification option. Candidates who earn the GitHub Foundations certification will therefore not need to renew their certification.
