Field Value

The following example creates a Uri instance and determines whether the scheme is UriSchemeNntp.

Uri^ address5 = gcnew Uri( "nntp://news.contoso.com/123456@contoso.com" );
if ( address5->Scheme == Uri::UriSchemeNntp )
   Console::WriteLine( "Uri is nntp protocol" );
Uri address5 = new Uri("nntp://news.contoso.com/123456@contoso.com");
if (address5.Scheme == Uri.UriSchemeNntp)
    Console.WriteLine("Uri is nntp protocol");
let address5 = Uri "nntp://news.contoso.com/123456@contoso.com"
if address5.Scheme = Uri.UriSchemeNntp then
    printfn "Uri is nntp protocol"
Dim address5 As New Uri("nntp://news.contoso.com/123456@contoso.com")
If address5.Scheme = Uri.UriSchemeNntp Then
    Console.WriteLine("Uri is nntp protocol")
End If

The NNTP Uri parsing errors in .NET Framework version 1.1 have been corrected.
