Property Value
The Brush that paints the background of every nth row where n is defined by the AlternationCount property. The registered default is null
. For more information about what can influence the value, see DependencyProperty.
Examples
The following example shows how to set alternating row background colors on the DataGrid.
<DataGrid x:Name="CustomerGrid" ItemsSource="{Binding}" AlternatingRowBackground="LightBlue" AlternationCount="2" />
The following illustration shows how this code looks when it runs.
Remarks
The AlternatingRowBackground, RowBackground, and AlternationCount properties together determine the appearance of each row's background.
If AlternationCount is less than 2, setting the AlternatingRowBackground property sets AlternationCount to 2.
