Examples
The following code example demonstrates how to override the OnMouseHover and OnMouseMove methods in a derived class. To run the example, paste the following code in a new form and paste this class, forming the same file, after the form. Add a button of type FunButton
to the form.
// To use this example create a new form and paste this class
// forming the same file, after the form class in the same file.
// Add a button of type FunButton to the form.

Remarks
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnMouseHover method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnMouseHover(EventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnMouseHover(EventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
