Not able to create additional subscription

Hello,

To establish a segmentation strategy (Antipattern: Use a single subscription), I would like to create multiple subscriptions.

When the owner of the current subscription is trying to do it the error message that only a billing administrator is able to update the account is displayed.

Any idea of why I have this kind of poblem?

    Creating new Subscriptions is Only possible with Billing Administrator permissions in the Tenant, being owner of a Subscription does not give you the Right to Create new ones - To find more Information on where you might find your Billing / Account Administrator see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/manage-billing-access

    Pls see the below tips for creating newer subscriptions. Only the person who is responsible for creating subscriptions can do it, in your case he might be owner of current sub but he should have access to create multiple subscriptions in the azure portal.
