Currently, I have a brand new Azure account that I'm testing. I want to use Microsoft Entra ID roles to configure my application for SSO. However, the Azure UI is presenting me this:

To create custom roles, your organization needs Microsoft Entra ID Premium P1 or P2. Start a free trial. →

When I click on the above arrow I don't see the option for Microsoft Entra ID Premium P1:

How can I purchase the Microsoft Entra ID Premium P1? I just need roles for a couple of users.

    Hi @Martin Flynn ,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

As you are using a new Azure account, you can take advantage of the free trial version of Microsoft Entra ID P1. During the trial period, you can explore its features and decide to purchase a subscription if needed.

To purchase the Microsoft Entra ID P1 license for creating custom roles in your testing environment, follow these steps:

    • Go to the Purchase Services catalog, which redirects you to Microsoft 365 admin center.
    • In the search bar, type Microsoft Entra ID P1 and press Enter
    • Scroll down until you find Microsoft Entra ID P1 under the Security and Identity section.
    • Click on the details and proceed to start the trial or make a purchase.
