Hi. I'm posting this as I ended my communciation with a Mircosoft Tech Rep. My situation is a bundle of different technical issues that I'm trying to pull apart and address separate. So I'll be brief as best I can and outline the cirucmstances:

  • Products Involved: 'Personal' O365 Subscription (Outlook to be Specific) --> Azure
  • Problem 1: Few weeks ago as I was exploring the New Outlook interface, I noticed there were multiple Mobile devices registered on my 'personal' Outlook account that neither I or Microsoft Tech Support Representative who attended to my concern later on could remove. They would just reappear after a page refresh. Later on I learned my concern was not isolated and this is a known issue is being investigated. No solutions yet for problem 1.
  • Problem 2: To my surprise, as I was checking my phone (Android) to find a solution to the first problem, I noticed that my personal account was registered as a 'Work Account' under Phone's Account Setting. Why I didn't notice this much earlier, I don't know. I never actively looked or even sure it showed like that before. I checked other who are sharing the O365 subscription with me and noticed all of their accounts were registered as a 'Work Account'. One of the soloutions among many that I was able to find was to check Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) Portal. I didn't think this work given the problem I was dealing was related to a personal account but tried it and to my utter surprise I was let in to an IT admin protal that I didn't know I had access to. I don't know what entity/whose account this is to contact them and ask them to remove my account. The session times out evey time I try to find a a name or an admin (I've attached some screenshots that I was able to take in the short intervals that I was let in).

The two problems could isolated or related (likely because of the second problem) for all I know, but I really need help to fix this and would appreciate it if you could guide me to any known solution/s or refer me to person/s who can assist me with fixing this problem.

Thank you,

Regards,

Ellie

Hello @Bandela Siri Chandana . So sorry for the delay. I had issues accessing my account, it's been one technical problem after another that I've been encountering with. The short answer to your question is, unfortunately, no. I followed every steps in the guide you provided and none of them have led anywhere.

I've reached out to two different system admins and asked them to check, one said I have no account with them anymore, and the other has not replied until now. I'm not sure if they will TBH.

I really don't know what to do anymore at this point.
