This is really unacceptable from Microsoft. Most applications are requiring a higher version than this now. It's been over a year since the last update on this issue and still no word.
MariaDB 10.3 came out in May 2018. It seems that Microsoft has abandoned its clients who use this service.
AWS supports up to 10.6 and is continually upgrading. We are going to migrate our application there because at least then we can expect SOME upgrades.
