The ApartmentState property of the application is not set to STA.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnHandleCreated method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Derived classes should override this method to find out when the handle has been created.
When overriding OnHandleCreated(EventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnHandleCreated(EventArgs) method at the beginning of your implementation so that registered delegates receive the event.
