__I reimage a lot of OEM laptops, I always manually update my OEM images in a virtual machine so that Windows updates don't waste my time! I mainly install Windows 11, but I've had Windows 10 give me the same black screen with mouse pointer after logging/signing into Windows. I maintain all my OEM images and I install all Windows updates including optional updates and driver updates! I also use the OEM tools to update the drivers! I experienced this issue in the past after installing a certain Windows update, for months I've not experienced this issue, but this issue is back! I suspect the latest cumulative update of being the cause! There' no pattern, the occurrence of the black screen with mouse cursor appears to be completely random occurring on different OEM brands and models!

This error is extremely frustrating there are far too many possible to solutions on the internet which may or may not work! I've resorted to resetting the OS on affected machines, then I don't waste my time on research and trial and error! I want the developers and Microsoft to take note of this issue and to resolve it ASAP!!!

I guide my customers that experiences the same issue to follow the steps in this video --> https://www.youtube.com/shorts/sbQb6BFfrzs <--

I would highly appreciate it if someone on this forum can guide me to a more effective solution that works every time and that saves me the trouble of resetting the OS!__

I actually resolve the issue by leaving the affected PC on for at least an hour for the issue to resolve itself, and in most cases it does! In the event that it doesn't, I just reset the affected PC!
